2007 Choir Results

More than 3,300 high school students representing sixty high schools performed Thursday, Friday and Saturday, May 3-5, at the 2007 OSAA / U.S. Bank / Les Schwab Tires Choir State Championships held in the Bauman Auditorium on the campus of George Fox University.

The winners were:

6A DIVISION:

1st - Sprague High School (Salem), Directed by Russ Christensen - 339 points.

2nd - Canby High School, Directed by Tom Gingerich - 338 points.

3rd - Rex Putnam High School (Milwaukie), Directed by John Baker - 322 points.

4th - South Salem High School, Directed by Carol Stenson - 317 points.

5th - Gresham High School, Directed by Janine Kirstein - 312 points.

 

5A CHOIR DIVISION:

1st - Cleveland High School (Portland), Directed by Samuel Barbara - 318 points.

2nd (tie) - Ashland High School, Directed by Russell Otte - 275 points; Silverton High School, Directed by Brace Langenwalter - 275 points.

4th - Wilsonville High School, Directed by Sue Schreiner - 271 points.

5th - Parkrose High School ( Portland), Directed by Lesley Ann Bossert - 268 points.

 

4A DIVISION:

1st - Baker High School, Directed by Thomas L. Isaacson - 305 points.

2nd - Central High School (Monmouth), Directed by Jeffrey D. Witt - 301 points.

3rd - La Grande High School, Directed by Sam Jacobson - 295 points.

4th - Tillamook High School, Directed by Jerilee Henderson - 287 points.

5th - Siuslaw High School ( Florence), Directed by Bev Slonecker - 282 points.

1st - Westside Christian High School (Lake Oswego), Directed by Kristy Moore - 295 points.

2nd - Catlin Gabel High School (Portland), Directed by C. Glenn Burnett - 274 points.

3rd - Glide High School, Directed by Gale Graham - 252 points.

4th (tie) - Clatskanie High School, Directed by Robert Emminger - 237 points; Grant Union High School (John Day), Directed by Mary Ann Vidourek - 237 points.

1st - Portland Christian High School, Directed by Daniel A. Burnett - 332 points.

2nd - Western Mennonite High School (Salem), Directed by Russell Adrian - 327 points.

3rd (tie) - St. Mary’s High School (Medford), Directed by Michael Wing - 300 points; Salem Academy, Directed by Janet Carruthers - 300 Points.

5th - The Delphian School (Sheridan), Directed by Craig Bader - 298 points.
