NFHS Coach Education Program
Rule 1.2 (Excerpt from OSAA Handbook)
Athletic Director and Coach Certification. Athletic directors and Coaches shall be certified through the NFHS Coach Education Program – “Fundamentals of Coaching” by achieving a passing score on the certification test prior to assuming duties as an athletic director or coach. The high school principal shall be held accountable for verifying that athletic directors and coaches have been certified. The high school principal shall submit a seasonal eligibility report to the Executive Director prior to the first interscholastic competition of that season. Form is available for download from the OSAA website, www.osaa.org, Handbook and Forms section, and in the Forms section of this Handbook. EXCEPTION: Any emergency exception must be authorized in writing by the OSAA.

NOTE: All ASEP-certified coaches will be grandfathered into the new NFHS Coaches Education Program and are not required to take this new course.

Instructions for Coaches choosing to take NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching Course (Blended Style) using PayPal:

Step 2: Enter class attendee's name

Step 4: Enter the requested payment information
Step 5: Submit payment
Step 6: Attend class

Online registrations END at 3:30pm one business day prior to class date

Notes:
Include the clinic site and date on any optional payment method and list of those who will attend the class.
Include the Purchase Order (PO) number (if applicable).
Registration information will be forwarded to the course instructor upon payment.
2007-08 NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching Course - Blended Style Clinic Schedule
NOTE 1: “Get College Credit” is now available on www.nfhslearn.com Any coach who has completed the Fundamentals of Coaching course can receive 1 graduate hour and ½ hour for completing First Aid for Coaches from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs. The cost is $125 for one credit and $80 for ½ credit.
NOTE 2: You will be notified by your instructor if your class time has been cancelled.
