OSAAtoday presents its 2021 statewide 5A football poll following the conclusion of Week 4. Thanks to all the coaches who took the time and had the expertise to contribute their opinions to this endeavor.
Look for the 5A football poll every Tuesday during the fall season.
Please note: these polls are for generating interest and discussion only and have no impact on the OSAA’s RPI and Colley ratings that form the basis of the OSAA’s rankings for playoff purposes.

Week 4 highlights: Thurston gained 440 yards in thumping Willamette 44-0. Jacob Newell caught two touchdown passes and had 138 receiving yards for the Colts. … Alex Briseno rushed for 140 yards and three touchdowns and Jordan McCarty threw two scoring passes to Austin Ratliff as Silverton beat Dallas 42-7. … Caden Lasater scored touchdowns rushing and receiving in Crater's 28-6 win over Springfield. … Pendleton handed Hood River Valley its first defeat, rallying from a 21-6 halftime deficit to win 35-21. Brock Mackey ran for two touchdowns for Pendleton. … Taylor Seiber ran for a 38-yard touchdown and returned an interception for a score to lead South Albany past Lebanon 21-19. … Wilsonville extended its conference winning streak to 26 by turning back Scappoose 52-41. Chase Hix passed for 219 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 87 yards and a score for the Wilcats, who led 28-0. … Mikey Gibson threw three touchdown passes and Tyler Konold ran for three scores for Canby, which beat St. Helens 55-13. … Corvallis overcame Central 19-14 as Toby Worsch ran for two touchdowns. … Michael Cade completed 20 of 31 passes for 245 yards and four touchdowns, two to Riley Paxton and one each to DeMarcus Houston and Brysen Kachel, to lead West Albany past Crescent Valley 42-20.
