OSAAtoday presents its weekly statewide Boys Basketball Coaches Polls in all classifications. Thanks to all the coaches who took the time and had the expertise to contribute their opinions to this endeavor.

Please note: these polls are for generating interest and discussion only and have no impact on the OSAA’s RPI and Colley ratings that form the basis of the OSAA’s rankings for playoff purposes.

Grant's Aaron Deloney scored 47 points in an 86-74 loss to Skyview (Wash.) at the LSI. A first-team all-tournament pick, he averaged 33.3 points in the four games. ... Notes: Seaside, last season's 4A champion, beat reigning 5A champion Thurston 49-45 on Saturday in the final of the Les Schwab Oregon Holiday Hoopfest in Bend. The Seagulls trailed 31-22 in the third quarter before rallying behind junior wing Ryan Hague, who scored nine points in the fourth quarter. Seaside also defeated two 6A teams at the tournament -- South Eugene 68-51 and Bend 61-59. ... Banks extended its winning streak to 12 by going 3-0 in the Sisters Holiday Tournament, including a 57-52 double-overtime win over Marist Catholic. ... Woodburn defeated Valley Catholic 41-33 on Friday. ... Friday's schedule includes Stayton at Philomath and Sweet Home at Woodburn.

The Eagles won despite missing 6-7 senior Zach Baugher, who suffered a concussion on a fall while dunking in the tournament opener Thursday. ... Notes: Columbia Christian more than held its own among large-school powers at the LSI, The Knights went 2-1 against 6A top 10 teams, beating Southridge 82-71 and Barlow 80-78 in overtime and losing to reigning state champion Grant 58-54. Ben Gregg, a 6-8 sophomore, was named first-team all-tournament after averaging 23.3 points, 15.8 rebounds and 4.3 assists in four games. ... Toledo rolled to three wins over Harrisburg, Central Linn and Taft in the Taft Kiwanis Holiday Tournament last weekend, winning by an average of 33.0 points. The Boomers are averaging 80.2 points per game.

Trinity Lutheran rallied from a four-point deficit in the first overtime to defeat McLoughlin 58-56 in double overtime, getting 22 points, six rebounds and five assists from Matt Eidler.
