[Editor’s note: Today let’s get to know West Linn wrestler Sean Harman, the Missouri signee who is undefeated in his senior season and will vie for a third consecutive state title next month. We asked Harman to review more than 20 random questions, then pick five and answer them as part of our recurring “Take Five” feature designed to offer a quick look at some of Oregon’s most prominent high school sports standouts]

OSAAtoday: How did you get started as a wrestler?

Harman: Naturally as a little kid I was drawn to being just like my older brothers and so wrestling was an easy choice because they both loved the sport. My family has been wrestling since my great grandpa and it is just part of our family.

OSAAtoday: What is your first memory in the sport of wrestling?

Harman: My first memory of the sport is getting pinned in my very first match. I remember I threw a fit and my parents didn’t let me compete for the longest time after that.

OSAAtoday: What is the single funniest things you’ve seen in wrestling?

Harman: One of the funniest things I’ve witnessed is watching our 220 from my freshman year walk out to home duals with his singlet backwards. One time he also put his shoes on the wrong feet. We never let him forget it.

OSAAtoday: What’s a song you must listen to before a game?

Harman: “You Make My Dreams Come True” [ Hall & Oates]. I first heard that song when I watched stepbrothers and ever since then I loved it.

OSAAtoday: What is one thing people don’t know about you?

Harman: I’m the best ping pong player this side of the Mississippi.
