Jan. 22 Statewide Boys Basketball Coaches Polls

OSAAtoday presents its weekly statewide Boys Basketball Coaches Polls in all classifications. Thanks to all the coaches who took the time and had the expertise to contribute their opinions to this endeavor.

Please note: these polls are for generating interest and discussion only and have no impact on the OSAA’s RPI and Colley ratings that form the basis of the OSAA’s rankings for playoff purposes.

In the preceding game, Jefferson defeated Rainier Beach of Seattle 65-59 as Marcus Tsohonis scored 22 points. … Jesuit fell at Sunset 89-84 in three overtimes. The Apollos’ Colby King scored 21 of his 27 points after halftime. … Jaden Nielsen-Skinner had 32 points, six assists, five rebounds and five steals as South Salem took sole possession of first place in the Mountain Valley Conference with an 83-65 win over West Salem. … Lake Oswego visits Tigard on Tuesday.

The Lancers go to Crater on Tuesday. … Silverton rebounded from an overtime loss to Corvallis by beating North Salem 77-44.
