Gladettes take their third consecutive first-place finish in Pom

On Saturday, Nov. 17, Oregon high school dance teams returned to competition with events hosted at Reynolds and Scappoose high schools.

At the Reynolds Competition, the overall high score of the day was awarded to Clackamas for its Small Contemporary routine (43.60). Canby brought home the most first-places finishes by winning three divisions: Kick, Modern, and Large Contemporary. 

At the Scappoose Competition, the overall high score of the day was awarded to Stayton for its Small Contemporary routine (44.57). Tigard and Westview tied for the most first-place finishes by winning three divisions each. Tigard earned first place in Large Jazz, Large Pom, and JV Pom. Westview earned first place in Small Jazz, Small Hip Hop, and Large Contemporary.

The final competition of the fall season will be held on November 23 at West Albany High School.
