Sept 21 Statewide Volleyball Coaches Polls

OSAAtoday presents its twice-monthly statewide Volleyball Coaches Polls in all classifications. Thanks to all the coaches who took the time and had the expertise to contribute their opinions to this endeavor.

Please note: these polls are for generating interest and discussion only and have no impact on the OSAA’s RPI and Colley ratings that form the basis of the OSAA’s rankings for playoff purposes.

Central Catholic defeated Clackamas in four sets Thursday in a Mt. Hood Conference match. Juniors Julia Carr and Mia Jordan had 14 and 13 kills, respectively, for the Rams. ... Summit beat Bend in four sets Monday in a rematch of last year's 5A final, won by Bend in five sets. Sasha Stringer had 41 assists and Jade Waskom 17 digs for the Storm. Summit needed five sets to win at West Salem on Wednesday.
