Dec. 10 Statewide Girls Basketball Coaches Polls

OSAAtoday presents its weekly statewide Girls Basketball Coaches Polls in all classifications. Thanks to all the coaches who took the time and had the expertise to contribute their opinions to this endeavor.

Please note: these polls are for generating interest and discussion only and have no impact on the OSAA’s RPI and Colley ratings that form the basis of the OSAA’s rankings for playoff purposes.

Notes: Tigard ended two-time reigning 6A champion Southridge's 44-game winning streak against Oregon teams, going on the road to beat the Skyhawks 54-50 behind 18 points from Campbell Gray, who made the go-ahead basket with 11 seconds left. The Tigers also defeated Sheldon 69-51. ... Beaverton bounced back from two losses to Washington teams to beat Oregon City 61-25 as junior Laura Erikstrup scored 16 points. ... Beaverton plays host to Tigard on Friday.

Notes: Reese Timm scored 20 points, making four three-pointers, as Wilsonville beat visiting Churchill 69-53 on Friday and moved into the top spot in the poll. ... La Salle Prep opened with a 91-41 win over Crescent Valley, getting 39 points from sophomore Addison Wedin, but fell to Springfield 50-44 on Saturday as the Millers held Wedin to nine points. Ema McKinney led Springfield with 15 points.
