New Year's Eve Statewide Girls Basketball Coaches Polls

OSAAtoday presents its weekly statewide Girls Basketball Coaches Polls in all classifications. Thanks to all the coaches who took the time and had the expertise to contribute their opinions to this endeavor.

Please note: these polls are for generating interest and discussion only and have no impact on the OSAA’s RPI and Colley ratings that form the basis of the OSAA’s rankings for playoff purposes.

Notes: Southridge regains the top spot after beating Benson 55-50 in the Diamond bracket final of the Holiday Classic, getting 33 points from 6-5 junior Cameron Brink. Also in the tournament, Benson defeated Tigard 52-44 behind 20 points from Tayler Lyday; Beaverton rolled past Grant 68-50 as Sydney Erikstrup scored 25 points and beat West Linn 63-48; Grant defeated Sheldon 68-57; Jesuit held off Sheldon 48-45 in overtime; and West Linn turned back Jesuit 60-51. ... Grant plays host to Benson in a PIL showdown Saturday.
