Schedules & Compensation: This is a seasonal and stipend position with practices typically Monday-Friday after school 4 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. Games are typically during the week with possible weekend tournaments. This position reports directly to the Director of Athletics. The stipend range for this position is based on previous coaching experience

Role Summary:

FBCS is looking for qualified applicants with high school or club soccer coaching and playing experience for the Varsity Head Coach position. Highly motivated candidates possessing strong leadership and communication skills are encouraged to apply. The Head Coach will have responsibility for all aspects of the program, including mentorship and oversight of the assistant and JV coaches, and be the face of FBCS Soccer, providing leadership in the ongoing development, growth, and improvement of the program from grades 9-12. Position Summary: Sunset High School, a 6A member of the Metro League and Oregon Activities Association (OSAA) is looking to fill its coaching staff with qualified assistant coaches for the 2024-25 season. The ideal candidate will work under the supervision of the head coach to support the school and athletics by providing a positive environment and experience. Serving as a coach on the girls basketball staff it is important that the individual(s) possess excellent knowledge of the game and the ability to teach it, leadership skills, a passion for working with kids, and an ability to develop student athletes into great people as well as basketball players.

Experience: High school/college/club coaching experience preferred.

Coaches Compensation: $2500-$3000/Seasonal

Length of Paid Contract: November 11th, 2024 through February 21st, 2025

The ideal candidate must also be available to help during off season training and development (April-May), as well as summer workouts and camp (June).

  • Attends athletic department meetings, when required.
