RB LaMarcus Bell rushed for 247 yards with four touchdowns to lead the effort. … No. 2 West Linn raced out to a 35-0 lead before halftime against Tigard and cruised in the second half for a 42-6 victory. QB Sloan Baker threw for 217 yards and three touchdowns. … No. 3 Central Catholic ran the ball well against Clackamas in a 42-7 victory. Both Tyson Davis and KK Sombe ran for two touchdowns while backup QB Kody Grant stepped in and threw two touchdown passes. Cole Thomas added an interception on defense.
No. 5 Willamette grinded out a 19-10 win over No. 8 West Salem, handing the Titans their first loss of the season and keeping the Wolverines undefeated. Tony Cumberland scored a rushing TD for Willamette while Hunter Vaughn scored on a sweep and Zeke Thomas hit Kawai Chamberlin for a 22-yard TD to round the scoring for the Wolverines. … No. 9 Jesuit shut down Westview 35-7 to begin Metro League play. The Crusaders outgained the Wildcats 339-92 with RB Luke Ortner rushing for 95 yards and two TDs. … After being down 14-0 at halftime, Roosevelt scored three unanswered touchdowns to take down Lincoln 18-14 and take the outright lead in the PIL. Jay Jay Buell Jr. had 140 rushing yards with two TDs and also recovered two fumbles on defense for the Roughriders.
McDaniel went up big quickly and never looked back in a 41-19 win over Cleveland. Jaydin Jordan caught two touchdown passes while Tre’Marion Crawford rushed for one score and caught a TD pass. QB Marlan McCowan threw three TDs and rushed for another. … Ida B. Wells went up 30-0 and kept scoring to fend off Franklin 58-34. Fletcher Hamman scored the game’s first two TDs on the ground, and his teammates Kurt Jordan and Roman Tubay each scored twice on the ground as well. Kannon Walter rushed for a score and caught a TD for the Guardians. Franklin QB Silas Combs threw four TD passes, two of them to Rashawn Hunter-Barber. … Grant picked up its first win of the season by taking down Northeast Portland rival Jefferson 34-0. RJ Jeter came up with three interceptions on defense while Generals QB Gage Creasey had three rushing TDs.
Oliver Luebkert had another stellar game to help Beaverton cruise to a 40-14 win over Southridge. The Eastern Washington commit had 163 yards receiving with three TDs. … Liberty continues to be a rushing machine with a 52-26 win over McMinnville. Jaxon Rekow ran for 264 yards and two TDs while teammate Mekhi Perry had 184 yards and three TDs on the ground. Ethan Hopper anchored the defense with four sacks, and also ran the ball for 61 yards and a score. … Newberg coasted in a 41-6 victory over Century behind a balanced offensive attack. QB Parker Sellner threw for 188 yards and three TDs while Chace Macken ran for 123 yards and scored once. Ethan Hein added 78 receiving yards and 39 rushing yards with two TDs.
Sherwood got a 29-yard field goal from Brady Kunert with 1:17 left in the game to win 12-10 over Glencoe, marking 23 consecutive Pacific Conference wins for the Bowmen. Glencoe RB Daniel Heninger ran for 185 yards, but Sherwood kept the Crimson Tide out of the endzone after the first quarter with a safety being the scoring difference between the two sides. … Sandy had enough offense to take down Reynolds 35-21. QB Micaiah Turin had 205 yards passing with three TDs while the Pioneers ran the ball for 231 more yards. … It wasn’t a school record, but it got the job done in Treyton Powers’ 104 rushing yards and two TDs for Grants Pass in a 21-7 win over South Medford. The Panthers tried to limit opportunities for the Cavemen, but Grants Pass got the plays on defense when it needed them to hold on for the win. … Jakai Phillips had another rushing TD to help power North Salem’s 21-14 win over Sheldon. He also finished with 114 yards on the ground. … South Salem cut the deficit to 21-14 right before the fourth quarter, but Sprague took advantage of a muffed Saxons punt and scored a second time in the fourth to pull out the 34-21 victory for the Olympians. Isaac Tindall had 230 yards rushing and three TDs for Sprague while Gabe Flynn had three sacks.

No.1 Summit rode the legs of Max Shepherd to a 35-14 win over previously unbeaten No. 8 Ridgeview. Shepherd ran for 118 yards and three TDs while QB Andrew Guthrie chipped in 124 passing yards and a score. … Despite a first-quarter injury that knocked QB Chase Dominguez, No. 2 Silverton held firm in a 29-0 win over No. 6 West Albany. Backup QB Nolan Horner came in for the Foxes and scored two rushing TDs, one of 50 yards and the other 35. Meanwhile the defense had four turnovers, highlighted by Kellen Kuenzi snagging an interception, recovering a fumble and blocking a punt. … No. 3 Dallas made quick work of Central with a 49-13 win. Landon Holbrook ran for 74 yards with two TDs and Thomas Hess went for 86 and three scores on the ground. Holbrook also had a 45-yard TD catch.
5A No. 4 Wilsonville got an 80-yard TD run from QB Trevor Glos on its first offensive snap, then got a 70-yard TD pass from Glos to Keona Tam to power a 17-6 win over 6A North Medford. … Ryder Carpenter and Angel Valenzuela once again tag-teamed the run game for No. 5 Mountain View’s 42-13 win over Crook County. Each of them had two rushing TDs while QB Alex Toolan added 186 passing yards and two more TDs. … Brison Edwards hit Logan Large for a 97-yard TD catch and run in what was ultimately a 54-35 win for No. 7 Lebanon over Bend.
No. 9 Thurston pulled away in the second half against rival Springfield for the 38-7 victory. The game was tied at seven until later in the second quarter. Colts QB Emmit Distefano threw two TDs, one of them to Bentlee Davenport who also iced the game with an 80-yard pick-six. … No. 10 Churchill went up 36-28 over Crater going into the fourth, but the Comets got the 37-36 victory thanks to a 27-yard walk-off field goal from Ben Warner. Terrius Allen scored on a 6-yard TD run with 57 seconds left in the game, but the two-point conversion failed. However, the Comets got the ball back on an onside kick and moved the ball close enough for the winning kick. Allen finished with 295 rushing yards and two TDs while QB Tremaine Smith tossed three TDs.
Caldera won an ugly one with Redmond 8-7 thanks to a safety midway through the fourth quarter on a snap over the head of the Panthers’ punter that went through the end zone. Henry Boni led the Wolfpack with an interception, a forced fumble and the lone TD reception of the night for Caldera. … Parkrose ended its two-game skid with a 24-0 victory on the road at Centennial. Corinthian Littleton had two long TDs for the Broncos while Si’yel Bell added a 75-yard kickoff return TD. … Jayden Locke and Bishop Preston connected three times in the end zone to help Milwaukie take down David Douglas 34-15. … Eagle Point used five turnovers to turn back South Eugene 42-6. Eli Hamman recovered two fumbles on defense and rushed for a team-high 80 yards and one TD on offense. Octavio Garcia had 76 yards rushing with two scores.
McNary tied the game at 21 in the second half, but a rushing TD by Emmet Curl pushed Hillsboro ahead for good in a 35-21 win. Curl finished with 166 yards on the ground with three TDs and he also had two sacks on defense. … Forest Grove scored 28 points in the second quarter en route to a 42-0 victory over McKay. Miguel Quijas caught a TD and had a pick-six while Jonah Gillette had 89 yards rushing with two TDs. … North Eugene survived a thrilling finish to take down Roseburg 28-27. Tied at 21, the Highlanders got a 68-yard TD from Dae Dae Ireland to Solger Pescosolido to go up 28-21. On the ensuing kickoff, Roseburg's Eli Rush lateraled the ball to McLane Stedman who ran it back for a return TD, his second of the night. However, Roseburg went for two and didn’t get it, giving North Eugene the slim victory.

No. 2 Scappoose kept Seaside an arms distance away in an eventual 35-21 victory. QB Will Kessi was a big part of it with 196 passing yards and four TDs while Elijah Greenan Biggs added 91 rushing yards and a score. Trever Olsen caught two TD passes. … No. 3 Tillamook walked to a 54-7 win over St. Helens. Kevin Hurliman threw for 265 yards and four TDs, two of those scores going to Griffyn Boomer who also had 89 receiving yards. The Cheesemakers rushed for three touchdowns as well. … No. 4 Marshfield blew out Mazama 49-6 behind a balanced offensive attack. QB Enoch Niblett had 236 passing yards with two TDs and ran for another. Jaden Tice rushed for 157 yards with a score and Lane Olsen had 124 receiving yards with a rushing TD.
No. 6 Henley skated to a 47-0 victory over Hidden Valley with 34 points scored in the first half. QB Joseph Janney threw for 178 yards and three TDs, most of it going to Kai Montag who had 123 yards receiving with two TDs. Jacob Bocchi added a 35-yard pick-six, one of two interceptions on the night for him. … Bradyn McClure threw three TDs to Dillan Davis to help No. 10 Sweet Home upset the defending 4A state champion in No. 8 Marist Catholic by a score of 27-20. The Spartans had a chance to tie it late, but a forced fumble by the Huskies’ Luke Rosa that was recovered by Trenton Templin allowed them to run out the clock. … Austin Matthews hit Elijah Adler for a score en route to Crescent Valley upsetting No. 9 Philomath 20-15.
Jackson Roderick had a big catch-and-run to set up a TD run from Staton Barnes as a part of Junction City’s 28-8 win over Cottage Grove. … Jackson Swanson scored on a rushing TD with less than 30 seconds to go to put North Bend ahead for good in a 47-39 win over Ashland. … After falling behind 21-0 at halftime, Baker didn’t allow another point and won 27-21 in overtime over Pendleton/Nixyaawii. Quin Wellman hit Eli Long on a 69-yard TD pass with 2:27 left in the game that tied the game after a 2-point conversion. In overtime, Baker scored first on a 17-yard TD play from the same duo, and then stood the Buckaroos up on defense.

No. 6 Gervais gave No. 1 Banks its toughest test of the season, but the Braves pulled it out in the end 42-20. Nate Lyda sealed the deal for Banks with an 89-yard rushing TD while the Braves defense came up with four turnovers. … No. 4 Dayton rushed for 322 yards in a 43-0 blanking of Salem Academy. Stephen Macias was one of three rushing TD scorers and had 103 yards on the ground. Makoy Fleeman had a receiving TD and returned a kickoff 85 yards for another score. … No. 5 Vale was unbothered in a 63-0 win over McLoughlin. Vikings QB Cal Johnson tossed four TDs and rushed for another with two of those passing scores going to Thomas Rodriguez.
No. 8 North Valley put away Phoenix with two touchdowns in the fourth quarter to win 42-21. Phoenix cut the lead to 28-21 in the third, but Knights RB Hayden Taylor scored two of his four TDs in the final frame to put the game on ice. Taylor finished with 238 yards rushing to go with the four scores and had a pick on defense. Max Freedman added two interceptions as well for the Knights. … No. 10 Santiam Christian blanked Blanchet Catholic 49-0. QB Brendan Fitzpatrick threw for 150 yards with three TDs while Steen Smith did damage on the ground with 119 yards and a score. Santiam Christian won the yardage battle 400-72. … Warrenton pulled out a 21-20 win over Valley Catholic in overtime despite 352 passing yards from VC quarterback Alex Adams who also tossed three TDs.
It was all Kennedy in a 50-0 blanking of North Marion. Colby Rich scored four total TDs on the night, scoring on three TD receptions after returning the game’s opening kickoff for an 83-yard TD. QB Brody Panuke finished with 104 yards passing and four TDs. … Kol Tolan had three rushing TDs to help Taft breeze by Scio 49-13. Riley Gilbreath chipped in two rushing TDs while the Tigers got a pick-six each from Corban Smith and Callen Ward. … Isaiah Cota had a kickoff return TD to help Madras take down La Pine 41-6. … Kai Davis powered Pleasant Hill to a 42-16 win over Elmira. Davis had 155 yards rushing with two TDs, and QB Steven Bounds tossed two TDs.
Douglas survived in overtime 41-40 over Sutherlin after scoring 14 points in the fourth to tie the game and getting a stop on Sutherlin’s 2-point try in OT to try and win the game. Ryder Sawyer threw for 207 yards with four TDs while also rushing for two more scores for the Trojans. Eden Cardoza did all he could for the Bulldogs with 254 rushing yards and four TDs. … Yamhill-Carlton defeated Willamina 49-20 in a 9-man matchup. Tyler Pond paced YC with 103 rushing yards with a TD on the ground and receiving. Jack Mitchell tossed three TDs.

Kyle Diaz ran for 98 yards and two TDs to help No. 2 Lost River take down No. 6 Culver 36-12. Diaz also threw for 174 yards and two more scores. … No. 4 Bandon won on the ground with 452 rushing yards in a 50-26 win over No. 10 Glide. Hayden Thompson returned a kickoff for a TD and also ran for 151 yards and a score. Reggie Turner had 110 yards rushing with four TDs and Cody Robison had 137 yards on the ground. … No. 8 Lowell turned a 17-0 halftime lead into a 51-0 victory over Harrisburg. QB Carter Harris was the catalyst with 185 yards rushing and four TDs, as well as 149 yards passing. Ben Thurman had 138 rushing yards with two TDs and also had 114 yards receiving. Defensively, Jax Norcutt had two sacks and Gage Greco had two interceptions as they held Harrisburg to just 69 total yards.

Daylon Gutierrez ran a reverse on fourth down on the Tigers’ opening possession, and QB Will VanVoorst hit Lucas Andreason for the score right before half. Mike Sampson started the second half with an interception for the Tigers to get the ball rolling. … Santiam had a great night on offense in a 62-12 victory over Corbett. Carson Childress rushed for 93 yards and four TDs while Mason Lindemann chipped in 102 rushing yards and a score. Lindemann also had a kickoff return TD and Payte Hansen had a 41-yard pick-six.

No. 3 Union rolled to a 48-6 win over Prairie City/Burnt River. Dawson Miller tossed three TDs and rushed for another. KJ Klebaum caught one of those TD passes and also ran for a score as the defense picked up five turnovers and got three sacks from Jericho Rasmussen and two from Sam Platz. … No. 9 Perrydale won a slugfest over No. 5 North Douglas 50-44. Broden Ferguson had 120 rushing yards with three TDs while Landon Eichler had 139 yards on the ground with a rushing TD and a receiving score. Ferguson also chipped in 10 tackles on defense with four sacks.
No. 6 Crosspoint Christian took it to Chiloquin in a 54-20 victory. Chris Kelly ran for 207 yards and three rushing TDs while Baylon Cundall tossed three scores. Trey Johnston caught two of those TDs and rushed for another while adding an INT on defense. … Glendale pulled off the upset of No. 10 Camas Valley 36-12 behind three TDs from Juan Ramirez. Kaden France, Ashton Brady and Huntyr Rocha all found the end zone as well for Glendale. … For the first time since 1998, Riddle is 4-0 thanks to a 28-8 win over Prospect Charter. Jonathan Harp had two rushing TDs and played well on defense for the Irish as Prospect didn’t score until the fourth quarter.

Ashton Fawver had 66 rushing yards for two TDs and had 100 receiving yards with another score. ... No. 3 Triangle Lake dominated its rival matchup with Alsea 52-13. QB Owen Mooney threw for 289 yards with five TDs, most of that going to Porter Overbaugh who had 193 receiving yards and three TDs. Ivan Surcamp was everywhere as well, catching two TDs, throwing for one and rushing for one. … No. 5 Joseph got what it needed in a 39-18 win over No. 7 Spray/Mitchell/Wheeler. QB Waylon Witherrite tossed for 299 yards with two TDs and rushed for two more scores. Jonah Lyman had 111 yards receiving with a score plus 11 tackles on defense.
