RB Viggo Anderson seemed fully back from injury with 110 yards and two TDs, meanwhile QB Sloan Baker threw for 198 yards and three scores along with 73 rushing yards and another TD. … Corbin Croslin rushed for 137 yards and three TDs to help No. 5 Nelson down No. 4 Central Catholic 26-6 in the program’s first-ever win over the Rams and secure at least a share of the Mt. Hood Conference title. The Hawks also benefited from six total turnovers: four interceptions, one fumble recovery and a recovery on a dropped punt by the Rams. … Six different rushers found paydirt in No. 8 Jesuit’s 63-0 win over Southridge. Phineas Shiely led the way with 143 yards and two TDs on the ground while Joe Stimpson caught a TD pass and had a 57-yard punt return score.
South Medford scored twice in the fourth quarter to come back and upset No. 9 West Salem 21-20. Panthers QB Makana Brown hit Sammy Huxtable with 2.5 minutes left in the game to pull ahead and the defense did the rest. … After falling behind 7-0 after the first quarter, No. 10 Sherwood woke up and took care of Liberty 41-14. QB Kai Boatsman tossed for 158 yards and two scores while Jayden Wallace was the leader on the ground with 69 yards and three TDs. The Bowmen also had seven sacks on the night, three from Isaac Bean and two from Levi Klostreich. … Roosevelt secured the PIL title with a 28-7 win over McDaniel. The Riders are currently a game up on Lincoln with one week left, but defeated the Cardinals earlier this season. Geovoney Burks rushed for three TDs while Ezra Arp added in the final score on the ground.
Lincoln blanked Jefferson 29-0 to finish off PIL play at 5-1. Zan Galton rushed for two TDs while Leonardo Correani added a score on the ground. Finn Davies hit Blake Timothy for a TD to round out the scoring. … Grant finished off a goal-line stand from its own 3-yard line to hold on to a 21-14 win over Franklin. … Sunset and Beaverton combined for the fourth-most points scored in a 6A game in state history with the Apollos emerging victorious at 79-62. QB Marcus Hahm threw for 266 passing yards with three TDs and also ran for 183 yards and six TDs. Beaverton QB Spencer York tossed for 435 yards and seven TDs. Beavers WR Oliver Luebkert had 398 receiving yards, third most in state history, and caught six TDs. … Stop if you’re heard this one before: Daniel Heninger had a game for Glencoe. The RB ran for 382 yards and four TDs to power the Crimson Tide to a big 42-34 win over Newberg.
An inadvertent whistle wiped off what could have been a game-winning score for Barlow as Sandy took home the 16-10 rivalry win. Caden McMahon led the Pioneers with 88 rushing yards and a score. … After South Salem scored a go-ahead TD with 2:32 left in the game, North Medford was able to tie things up on a screen pass from Quinn Scott to Joe Castillo for 38 yards that tied the game, followed by the game-winning PAT from Brady Patterson with a 1:41 to go that sealed the game. … 6A Ida B. Wells scored on a Jude Nolan rushing TD with 20 seconds left in the game to down 5A Canby. Nolan had two rushing TDs on the night while Kannon Walter, Kurt Jordan, Roman Tubay and Lucious Coon all scored on the ground as well.

No. 5 Silverton took down No. 2 Dallas 30-23 to stay alive in the Special District 3 race. QB Chase Dominguez tossed for two TDs and 195 yards with Logan Uitto catching one of those TD passes and rushing in another for the Foxes. … No. 3 Wilsonville dominated McNary 42-14 to stay unbeaten in Special District 2 play. QB Trevor Glos threw for 199 yards and four TDs while the Wildcats won the yardage battle 361-218. Daniel Lazaro had a fumble recovery in the end zone for Wilsonville to help with the scoring. … Ryder Carpenter gave No. 4 Mountain View what it needed on offense in a 21-6 win over No. 8 Ridgeview. The RB had 142 yards rushing with two TDs while the defense kept the Ravens off the scoreboard in the first half. QB Alex Toolan hit Jackson Urbach for the other Cougars’ score.
No. 6 Lebanon got the job done on the ground this week in a 34-13 win over Central. Cade Weber ran for 110 yards with three TDs while QB Brison Edwards added 109 passing yards with a score to Logan Large. … No. 7 Thurston didn’t score in the second half, but neither did North Eugene as the Colts won 26-6. Leofatu Filipe returned a fumble for a TD as the defense dominated all night. Justin Fisher and Quintin Fisher each had a rushing score. … No. 9 West Albany got three scores from its defense to help take down South Albany 44-6. RJ Fallows had two of them, returning both a fumble and interception back for scores. Elijah Grey had a pick-six as well for the Bulldogs.
No. 10 Milwaukie survived a big push from La Salle Prep, winning 27-22. The Falcons got two rushing TDs from QB Sterling Dressel and 105 rushing yards from Sean Fennell. … Caldera stormed past Crook County 41-14 behind four TD runs from Waylon Clarke. His running mate on the Wolfpack in Jaiden Blumenschein also had a pair of rushing TDs. … Bend ended its three-game losing streak with a 35-12 victory over Redmond. Trey Lawrence scored on the ground to open up the scoring and Kaden Cooper had a couple TD passes on the night. … Parkrose blew by Putnam 54-7 behind a big offensive night. Tranden Stricker tossed two TD passes, rushed for another score and had a pick-six on defense. Corinthian Littleton caught a TD and returned a punt for a score.
Hillsboro held off a second-half rally from Forest Grove to get a big 50-36 win. Emmett Curl once again led the Spartans with 185 yards rushing with four TDs. … Springfield blitzed Crater with a 41-26 victory. RB Noah Solo ran for 143 yards and found paydirt five times to lead the Millers. Solo also stepped in at QB and threw for 108 yards with one TD, meanwhile starting QB Brayden Wickersheim also threw for 242 yards. … Roseburg took down Eagle Point 28-6 thanks in part to four interceptions. Paxton Burke had two of them, returning one for a 38-yard TD. Drea Burwell chipped in 138 yards rushing on offense and a TD.

No. 5 Henley scored twice in the fourth quarter to secure a 21-6 win over No. 2 Marshfield. Hornets QB Joseph Janney ran for 126 yards and two TDs while passing for 81 yards to help them pull the mild upset. The Henley defense forced two turnovers and Jeremiah Brunick scored on the ground to round out the scoring. … No. 3 Scappoose used a balanced offensive attack to take care of Astoria 33-7. QB Will Kessi threw for 206 yards and a TD, and also ran for two more scores. Elijah Greenan Biggs had 107 rushing yards with a TD and Colton Smith ran for 106 yards and a TD. … Aden Camacho Garcia rushed for two TDs to help No. 4 Tillamook take care of business in a 42-6 win over Gladstone/Riverdale.
No. 9 Marist Catholic blew out No. 8 Philomath with a 49-0 win. QB Elijah Martin led the way for the Spartans with 296 passing yards and four TDs, three of them to Gabe Dietmeyer. … Zaidensen Dodson ran loose in a Junction City 26-0 win over Crescent Valley. The RB had 217 rushing yards with two TDs. … Tugg McQuinn scored four times on the ground to help Pendleton/Nixyaawii take down Ontario 40-7. McQuinn also had a pick-six to produce five of the Buckaroos six touchdowns on the night.

No. 2 Banks scored 43 points in the first quarter and rolled to a 57-6 win over Valley Catholic that was abandoned at halftime. Henry White had 135 yards rushing with two TDs and two interceptions. Lane Gilbert returned an INT 90 yards for a score and Jarrett Martin took a screen pass 80 yards for a TD. … No. 4 Vale scored with less than five minutes to go and hung on to down No. 3 Burns 21-18 and get some revenge for the 3A state title loss the Vikings suffered last season. Vale QB Cal Johnson rushed for 163 yards and two TDs while also throwing for 72 yards and one more score. Burns QB Jack Wright got hurt in the first quarter and didn’t return. … No. 5 Dayton stayed hot with 456 rushing yards in a 58-12 win over Blanchet Catholic. Makoy Freeman led the ground game with 158 rushing yards and two TDs while Bryce Wilson chipped in two scores rushing.
It was the Jacob Neely show in No. 10 Pleasant Hill’s 42-20 win over Creswell. Neely had 200 yards rushing with two TDs, but also had 156 receiving yards with three more scores. Not only that, but he recovered a fumble and had a one-handed interception on defense to complete one of the best individual performances of the season across the state. … Klamath Union scored twice in the fourth quarter to put away Modesto Christian (CA) 23-6. Tuko Saluskin was everywhere with two TD grabs and two interceptions on defense while QB Reese Johnson added a rushing score and 190 passing yards. … It was nothing but Taft out on the coast in a 67-7 win over Newport. QB Kol Tolan threw three TDs and rushed for two more while Riley Gilbreath had 122 rushing yards. Zack Hankins had a 61-yard punt return TD and Corban Smith had a 78-yard kickoff return TD, and both also caught a TD pass. Juan Lopez-Ortiz hit all nine PATs and returned a fumble for a TD.
Gage McMahan caught a pass from Braxton Gary, and a Tucker Mack two-point conversion put Sutherlin ahead for good in a 44-42 win over Coquille. Mack finished the game with 104 rushing yards and three TDs while Gary had 136 yards passing with three TDs. … Douglas shutout South Umpqua and won 27-0. QB Ryder Sawyer threw for 250 yards with three TDs, two of those scores going to Reese Willis. … Nyssa came up with four interceptions to hang on for a 34-24 win over McLoughlin.

No. 1 Heppner continues to roll, this time in a 56-6 fashion over Riverside. Six different Mustangs rushed for a TD while the defense forced three turnovers. … No. 7 Lowell shutout No. 2 St. Paul in the second half to win 36-20. QB Carter Harris scored twice on the ground with 138 rushing yards and threw for another TD with 276 passing yards to help the Red Devils pull the upset. … Kellen Dunlea ran wild in a No. 3 Lost River 48-6 win over St. Mary’s Medford. Dunlea ran for 326 yards and four TDs and also caught a 9-yard TD from QB Kyle Diaz who had two TD passes.
No. 4 Bandon overcame three first half fumbles to down rival Gold Beach 29-26. Hayden Thompson ran for 215 yards with three TDs to lead the effort. … Two big offensive plays weren’t enough for No. 5 Knappa as No. 10 Clatskanie pulled the upset in a 21-14 win. Tigers QB Will VanVoorst threw for 178 yards and three TDs while RB Lucas Andreasen chipped in 88 rushing yards. … No. 9 Myrtle Point scored twice on defense and held No. 6 Oakland to only 129 total yards in a shocking 41-0 upset blowout.
Rainier blew out Vernonia 60-14 behind a strong rushing attack. QB Gage Mohammad had 165 yards rushing with three TDs and RB Jayden Quevido had 95 yards on the ground with three more scores. Mohammad also had a pick-six and Easton Marsh had three interceptions of his own. … Weston-McEwen cruised in a 52-16 win over Irrigon. Jace Dunlap ran for 262 yards for the TigerScots and scored four TDs.

Derek Miller opened up a non-offense scoring barrage in the second half of No. 3 Union’s 55-14 win over Pine Eagle. Miller returned the second half kickoff back for a score after receiving a TD in the first half. Then Miller ran back a fumble recovery, followed by a Jackson Davenport pick-six and a KJ Klebaum pick-six. … Prospect Charter was no match for No. 4 Crosspoint Christian in a 55-6 Warriors win. Crosspoint won the yardage battle 442-17 with Isaac Root rushing for two TDs, receiving two more scores and coming up with a pick on defense. Trey Johnston threw two TDs and rushed for one.
No. 5 Elgin dominated in a 58-12 win over Pilot Rock/Ukiah. Hunter Myers had the offensive load with 180 rushing yards and TDs, plus 100 passing yards and three more scores. Drew Power caught two of those TDs and Kyler Perkins had two interceptions on defense plus a punt-return TD. … No. 5 Perrydale wrapped up a league title with a 34-18 win over Mohawk. Broden Ferguson and Landon Eichler ran strong with 163 yards and two TDs for Ferguson and 149 with one score for Eichler. Eichler also had two interceptions, one going for a score, and a fumble recovery while Ferguson had 16 tackles.
1A 8-man No. 9 North Douglas won easily in a 6-man game against McKenzie 56-0. Jaycen Marois ran for two TDs, caught one more and returned a kickoff 78 yards for a score. QB Chase Cyr had three passing TDs. … Echo came crawling back and took down Cove 38-36. Kohlvin Wyse had two rushing TDs and tossed one more to Mack Murdock, who finished with 100 yards receiving. The game-winner came in the fourth from a Brayden Cortaberria rushing TD.
Camas Valley scored 28 points in the fourth quarter to power ahead of Riddle in a 46-28 win. QB Joziah Swift rushed for 106 yards and four TDs, two of them coming in the fourth. Tanner Cummings had 136 rushing yards with a TD and Tatum Sexton had 102 yards with a score. … Chiloquin picked up a late turnover in the fourth quarter that led to the game-winning score in a 26-22 victory over Glendale.

No. 1 Harper Charter had no problem with No. 6 Dayville/Monument/Long Creek. Madoxx Martinez ran for 268 yards and seven TDs as the Hornets scored on all nine of their drives. Ike Walker had two interceptions on defense and Colt Bentz stepped in at QB and commanded the offense well. … No. 2 Triangle Lake powered past Jewell 67-0. QB Owen Mooney tossed five more TDs, two each to Ivan Surcamp and Jack Eastburn with the former also picking up a pick-six.
It was smooth sailing for No. 4 Joseph in a 60-0 win over Huntington. Kooper Grover rushed for 246 yards with four TDs and Jonah Lyman added 137 rushing yards and two scores. … No. 7 Elkton skated by No. 9 North Lake 45-6 after a 32-0 lead at halftime. QB Darwin Hudson tossed four TDs with Talon Harvey and Devlin Harper each rushing and receiving for a TD.
