Automatic Qualifiers – Twelve teams automatically qualify for the OSAA’s 24 qualifying spots (Two brackets: 16-team 6A Championship bracket and 8-team 6A Columbia Cup) based on
regular season and/or special district tournament play on or before Friday, October 31. Each league/special
district determines how they will select their allotted playoff spot.

Rankings Freeze Date – The rankings will freeze at the conclusion of all contests on Friday, October 31.

At-Large Qualifiers – Twelve additional teams will qualify for the OSAA's 24 qualifying spots (Two
brackets: 16-team 6A Championship bracket and 8-team 6A Columbia Cup bracket) based on the OSAA rankings.
Once the rankings are frozen, the twelve next highest ranked
teams not already an automatic special district qualifier will qualify as At-Large teams.

Rankings – Once the 24 qualifying teams are determined, they will be placed on the OSAA brackets
according to OSAA Executive Board Policy "State Championships – Rankings".
OSAA 16-team 6A Championship Bracket
The six (6) league champions along with the next ten highest ranked teams from the 24 qualifying teams will make up the 16-team 6A Championship bracket.
OSAA 8-team 6A Columbia Cup
The remaining 8 qualifying teams will be placed on the 8-team 6A Columbia Cup bracket.
