Results from Saturday's first-round matches in the 6A boys soccer playoffs:
Jesuit 2, Lake Oswego 0: The Crusaders, and No. 1 seed and reigning champion, scored a goal in each half to defeat the No. 32 seed Lakers. Austin Rodriguez converted an assist from Remy Grayson in the 23rd minute. Riley Acker headed in a corner kick from Aiden Azavedo in the 67th minute.
“Lake Oswego is a much better team than their rating,” Crusaders coach Geoff Skipper said. “They played us very tough and deserve a lot of credit for their effort today.”
South Eugene 1, South Salem 0: Griffin Rea scored off a cross from Parker Dixon in the 48th minute as the Axe won on the road, avenging a nonleague loss to the Saxons. South Eugene goalkeeper Massimo Oedekoven Pomponi made three saves, including one from a point-blank blast in the 55th minute.
Liberty 1, Aloha 0: The Falcons got a goal from Jacob McDaniel with five minutes left to advance.
Summit 1, Westview 0: Rory McKee scored in the 66th minute in the Storm's win over the Wildcats.
Forest Grove 1, David Douglas 0: Abraham Alvarez scored with 11 minutes left to give the Vikings the win.
Central Catholic 3, Glencoe 3: Central Catholic advances on penalty kicks, 4-3.
Centennial 4, West Linn 3: Andrew Martinez recorded a hat trick and Geo Lugo had a goal as the Eagles outlasted the Lions.
Clackamas 6, Beaverton 1: Cameron Gaines scored twice and the Cavaliers got single goals from Brandon Farfan, Tommy Feastsev, Bereket Mitiku and Cooper Sheakley in the win over the Beavers.

Grant 2, Mountainside 0: Arthur Simonds and Sam Bacon-Brenes had goals for the Generals.
Sunset 4, South Medford 0: Julien Thuillier had a hat trick and Ajax Zappitello recorded the shutout in goal for the Apollos, who led 2-0 at half.
Cleveland 3, Newberg 1: The Warriors advance behind two goals from Mo Mohamed and one goal from Harrison Ritter West. Down 1-0 at half, Cleveland scored two minutes into the second half on a Mohamed breakaway. Three minutes later, Ritter West converted another breakaway for a 2-1 lead. Mohamed made it 3-1 in the 60th minute after dribbling past multiple defenders.
