A rundown of Friday's boys basketball playoff round of 16:

6A

No. 1 Tualatin 45, No. 16 Lake Oswego 44: Malik Ross made two free throws with 7.8 seconds left to put the Timberwolves ahead, and Lake Oswego was unable to get off a final shot in the game between the Three Rivers League rivals.

Noah Ogoli scored 16 points to lead Tualatin, which also got 12 points from Jaden Steppe. Freshman Winters Grady led the Lakers with 13 points.

Tualatin was ahead by nine points at half, but Grady scored the first seven points of the second half to spark Lake Oswego, which led by one point after three quarters and three points in the fourth quarter.

No. 8 Beaverton 45, No. 9 Grant 44: Trevon Hamilton's go-ahead layup with 16.9 seconds left was the difference for the Beavers against the Generals. Max Elmgren scored 11 points and Hamilton and Brady Rice added 10 points each for Beaverton. Andre Lawrence (15 points) and Adrian Mosley (13 points) led Grant.

No. 5 West Linn 71, No. 12 Jesuit 54: Jackson Shelstad erupted for 40 points, shooting 15 of 22 from the field, including six three-pointers, to lead the Lions. Mark Hamper added 13 points and seven rebounds for West Linn. Isaiah Crane scored 22 points for Jesuit.

No. 4 South Medford 62, No. 13 West Salem 53: Freshman Boden Howell scored 25 points, Devon Malcolm had 20 points, 11 rebounds, three steals and three blocks and Mike Adee added 12 points on four three-pointers for the Panthers. South Medford was playing without its starting guards in Jackson Weiland (broken collarbone in first round) and Junior Sleezer (ill), the Southwest Conference player of the year. Tommy Slack scored 18 points for the Titans.

No. 3 Cleveland 63, No. 14 Lincoln 53: Christian Green scored 21 points and Jackson Cooper added 17 points for Cleveland, which earned its first quarterfinal berth since 1962 by beating Portland Interscholastic League rival Lincoln. Moroni Seely-Roberts had 36 points for the Cardinals.

No. 11 Mountainside 58, No. 6 Central Catholic 49: Game story

No. 7 Roosevelt 61, No. 10 North Medford 49: Terrence Hill scored 17 points to lead the Roughriders, who got 10 points from Donatello Tupper. Tyson Neff had 14 points for the Black Tornado.

No. 2 Summit 76, No. 15 Barlow 50: The unbeaten Storm led 34-32 at half before outscoring the Bruins 42-18 in the second half. Julian Mora scored 20 points, Caden Harris had 16 points and 11 rebounds and Carson Cox added 15 points for Summit. Nathan Jones and Jahvari Martino each scored 14 points for Barlow.

No. 1 Redmond 78, No. 16 Milwaukie 58: Evan Otten, a 6-8 junior, dominated with 26 points and 15 rebounds for the Panthers. Garrett Osborn added 22 points.

No. 8 Ashland 56, No. 9 La Salle Prep 47: The host Grizzlies rebounded from a nine-point halftime deficit to outscore La Salle Prep 29-11 in the second half. Hawthorn Lapierre and Egan Barnes scored 16 and 13 points, respectively, for Ashland. The Falcons' Nick Robertson scored 21 points, making three three-pointers.

No. 5 Crescent Valley 68, No. 12 Scappoose 57: Jake Leibelt and Cooper Wakefield scored 20 and 14 points, respectively, to lead the Raiders past the Indians. Leibelt had three three-pointers for Crescent Valley, which shot 9 of 16 from three-point range.

No. 4 Silverton 52, No. 13 Willamette 20: The Foxes led 44-11 after three quarters in the win over the Wolverines. Ryan Brown had 20 points and six rebounds and Neil Efimov scored 17 points, making five three-pointers, and added seven rebounds for Silverton. Foxes point guard Jordan McCarty had seven points and 10 assists.

No. 3 Wilsonville 47, No. 14 Central 34: Kallen Gutridge scored 15 points and Logan Thebiay had nine points, nine rebounds and five blocks for the Wildcats, who led 40-20 after three quarters.

No. 6 Crater 72, No. 11 Corvallis 38: Logan Price had 33 points and 13 rebounds to lead the Comets to the win. Kadin Price had 13 points and four rebounds and Coltin Vranes added eight points and six assists for Crater.

No. 7 Eagle Point 74, No. 10 Hood River Valley 61: Brennen Neyt scored 20 points and Adan Quintero and Mickey Redondo added 13 points apiece for Eagle Point. Quintero shot 8 of 10 on free throws.

No. 2 Churchill 59, No. 15 The Dalles 24: Samaje Morgan scored 14 points and Ty Weiskind added 10 points for the Lancers, who led 31-12 at half. Henry Begay had nine points for The Dalles.

No. 1 Junction City 54, No. 16 Molalla 39: The Tigers advanced behind Kaleb Burnett and Colby Evans, who scored 20 and 13 points, respectively.

No. 9 Baker 80, No. 8 Gladstone 52: The visiting Bulldogs stormed to a 29-13 lead after one quarter and coasted to the win behind 21 points from Hudson Spike and 20 points from Jaren Long. Paul Hobson added 15 points for Baker.

No. 5 Philomath 60, No. 12 North Marion 51: The host Warriors led 21-6 after one quarter and dropped the Huskies. Ty May scored 20 points for Philomath, which also got 17 points from Cole Matthews and 13 points from Cole Beardsley. Carter Reilly led North Marion with 17 points.

No. 4 Seaside 45, No. 13 Woodburn 30: Cash Corder scored 14 points, Conner Langmo had 12 points and four blocks and Ever Sibony added 10 points, seven assists and three steals for Seaside. Spencer Karsseboom had 14 points for Woodburn, which led 9-2 before Seaside pulled ahead 19-13 at half.

No. 3 Marshfield 77, No. 14 Corbett 56: Pierce Davidson scored 30 points and Mason Ainsworth had 18 points to lead the Pirates past the Cardinals. Joe Fundak made four three-pointers and scored 25 points for Corbett.

No. 11 Banks 58, No. 6 La Grande 55: Cooper Gobel hit a three-pointer as time expired to give visiting Banks the win. Gobel made four three-pointers and scored 26 points to lead the Braves, who also got 13 points from Michael Vereen.

No. 10 Stayton 64, No. 7 Henley 62: Jacob Axmaker scored 21 points to lead the Eagles to the road win.

No. 2 Cascade 67, No. 15 Marist Catholic 49: The Cougars raced to a 35-9 halftime lead on their way to eliminating the Spartans. Kellen Sande had 17 points and eight assists and Samuel Horne and Ty Best added 16 points each for Cascade. Dominick Ball pitched in with eight points and 10 rebounds.
