Below are scores and recaps from today’s OSAA volleyball playoff matches. We will add more highlights as we receive them.

Jesuit 3, South Salem 0 -- Brooksie Isham had 11 kills and Kayleigh Carpenter had 12 digs, but it wasn't enough to prevent the undefeated Crusaders from sweeping to the state tournament. Ceanna O'Loughlin had 15 kills and Isabel Patterson added 14 digs for Jesuit in the win.
Sprague 3, McNary 1 -- Sprague made the state tourney for the first time since 2018 by overcoming the host Celtics in four sets, behind 35 assists and 13 digs from Megan Smith, 27 digs from Sarah Jones and 26 kills combined between Rubie Morissette and Sidney Friesen. "I'm so impressed with the challenge that McNary gave to us," said Sprague coach Annie Olsen. "But out girls studied hard and worked their butts off to win this match."
Nelson 3, West Linn 0 -- Kalista Lukovich delivered 23 kills as Nelson knocked out the defending 6A champion Lions in three sets. Maddie Hoover had a dozen kills to lead West Linn.
Oregon City 3, Grant 0 – Paige Thies hit a ridiculous .826 with 21 kills for the Pioneers, who controlled the match with strong serving. McKenna Brent’s 11-point serving run to end Game 3 secured the sweep for OC.
Sheldon 3, St. Mary’s Acad. 0 – Gwen Fife and Beaux Bruegman combined for 21 kills in the sweep of the Blues. Bruegman also had 18 assists and five aces.
South Medford 3, Central Catholic 1 – The Panthers reached the state tournament for the first time ever by bouncing a Central Catholic team that always seems to be there. South Medford won the first and the teams split the next two before South Medford got two aces from Naomi Johnson and a big kill in the middle from Mayen Akpan to break open a close fourth set. Kate Clevenger led the way on offense with 22 kills and was a standout on defense as well, along with Cameron Christian, who had 15 digs and gave the Panthers so many second and third chances. Bailey Davis also played big at the setter position, notching 46 assists.
Roseburg 3, Sherwood 1 – Roseburg and Sherwood split the first two sets before Roseburg won the final two sets on the road to prevail. Kennedy Baylis Hines and Grace Luttrell teamed for 29 kills to lead the offense and had seven blocks to complement Mikyla Cunningham and Caroline Knudson, who had another nine blocks combined. Hayden Pinard was stellar with 49 assists, 11 digs, six kills, seven aces and five blocks.

Wilsonville 3, Eagle Point 0 – The Wildcats swept, playing great defense in the back led by Mary Matthews; and at the net, led by Kaylee Dresser. Eagle Point competed, especially on defense, where its top four defenders had 67 digs.
South Albany 3, Ridgeview 0
Silverton 3, Canby 0 – Silverton played two very strong sets before the Cougars came to life in the third and gave the Foxes a challenge. Chloe Annas had nine kills and four blocks for Canby.
Bend 3, Putnam 0 – Chloe LeLuge had 18 kills, eight digs and two aces in Bend’s win.
Crater 3, Dallas 0 -- Seniors Madison Kocina (15 kills; 15 digs), Kendra Bittle (13 kills; two blocks) and Kate Stidham (38 assists; 13 digs, two aces, three blocks) led the way for the victorious Comets at home.
La Salle Prep 3, Summit 0 – MB Hailey Heytvelt (14 kills, five blocks) played her best match of the year, Olivia Maulding had 16 kills and five blocks and Mallorie Taylor chipped in with 16 digs as LSP won three tight sets over the Storm. “Our team showed a lot of grit and fight to pull out each game and ultimately win the match,” coach Anna Dillard said. Summit also showed grit in the loss. "Considering our rankings versus theirs, it showed that Summit really has a talented group of athletes," said Storm coach Emily McMahon. "The scores were proof of that."
West Albany 3, Thurston 2 -- Thurston rallied back from two sets down to send the match to a fifth set, but the Bulldogs rode early momentum, courtesy of Tessa Zimmerman kills, in the fifth set to take back the momentum and win. Kendyl Arnett had a huge match for West Albany -- 24 kills,including the clincher; and 24 digs -- to lead West Albany. Zimmerman had 17 kills and Avery Hughes contributed 48 assists, 15 digs, four blocks and three aces.
Crescent Valley 3, North Eugene 1 -- Sophia Terwilliger started the match and ended the match with long serving runs to highlight the night for the victorious Raiders. She also finished with eight kills, to complement Bella Jacobson and Taelyn Bentley, who teamed for 28 terminations. “The team offensively did well and helped establish the momentum of the game with all front row players hitting positive,” said coach Tory Shorey. CV had a combined .246 and added 16 aces.

Marshfield 3, La Grande 0 -- The top-seeded Pirates romped behind a balanced attack led by Bridget Gould's 11 kills and Tatum Montiel's nine. Ava Ainsworth did a great job distributing the ball to the many hitters and had 33 assists, five kills and three aces.
Crook County 3, Marist Catholic 0 – Serve and receive won the day for the Cowgirls, who started the match on an ace from Camryn Echternkamp and ended on an ace from Joann McKinnon. In between, McKenzie Jonas led the offense with 21 kills and added five aces of her own. Libero Jaycee Villastrigo contributed 25 digs and two aces.
Baker 3, Philomath 0 -- Abigail Brown had a strong match but it wasn't enough to get visiting Philomath past tough-passing Baker.
Tillamook 3, Hidden Valley 0
The Dalles 3, Scappoose 0 -- Fourteen aces helped the Riverhawks win a home playoff game for the first time since 2003.
Mazama 3, North Bend 0 –A fast tempo and aggressive offense carried Mazama past defensive-minded North Bend in three. Ella Baley had nine kills, 15 digs and three ace to lead the victors. Alexia Lowe contributed 20 assists, 13 digs, six kills and two blocks. Libero Kaylea Rietdyk had 21 digs and three aces.
Henley 3, Sweet Home 0 -- Strong passing propelled the Hornets past the Huskies and into the state tournament.
Cascade 3, Pendleton 0 – Twenty-five aces helped propel the Cougars past the Bucks. Jadyn and Bella Daviscourt teamed for 13 of the spaders. Meah Carley had 20 assists. Annabelle Peterson had 10 kills, six blocks and five aces.

Sisters 3, Westside Christian 0 – Sisters got a challenge from Westside Christian – Game 2 was 25-21; Game 3 was 25-23 – but the Outlaws had enough to prevail. Gracie Vohs had 15 kills and eight digs. Kathryn Scholl added 10 kills and four blocks.
St. Mary’s, Medford 3, Scio 0 – Kelsey Dunn had 16 kills and three blocks and Albie Borovansky served eight straight points in Game 2 to pace the Crusaders to the win.
Valley Catholic 3, Yamhill-Carlton 0 -- Great passing from Sophia Rewers, JoJo Christianson and Frances Eisenhardt sent the Valiants past YC in straight sets. Eisenhardt and Addie Emerson teamed for 11 aces for Valley Catholic, which is peaking at the right time according to coach Becky Kemper.
Horizon Christian, Tualatin 3, Cascade Christian 2 -- The Hawks dropped the first two sets at home before rallying for the reverse sweep and a berth in the elite eight for the fifth straight year. The defense of libero Alexis Sumner and DS Nyla Karnes keyed the comeback. Setter Sam McDonald, MB Emily Miller and outsides Reagan Anderson and Sadie Eisert got into the act to ensure Horizon's victory. Madison Todd and Poppy Freeman played well in defeat for Cascade Christian.
Santiam Christian 3, Banks 2 -- Elise Linderman, Maddie Fields and Joya Euhus teamed for 38 kills and Ashlynn Davis had 30 assists as the Eagles rallied from a set down to win in five.
Burns 3, Corbett 0 -- The defending 3A champs dominated start to finish behind 24 Ashley Wright assists, 14 Akylah Kaino kills and five Reese Rothwell aces.
Creswell 3, Coquille 1 -- Creswell overcame a Game 1 loss to win in four behind 17 kills and 14 digs from Lizabelle Osborn and 38 assists from Kimberlee Kelsey. Laura Bailey served 24 points for the victors, including two aces.
Siuslaw 3, Pleasant Hill 2 -- Rhianna Lane had 21 kills and 11 blocks and Desiree Tupua contributed 26 kills and four blocks in the stunning win for the 15th-seeded Vikings on the road.

Salem Academy 3, Knappa 0 – Overpowering offense, led by senior Aly Herber (16 kills) and freshman Emma Brewer (15 kills), stellar defense and precision passing led the defending state champs back to the state tournament again in 2022.
Willamina 3, Weston-McEwen 2 – Willamina advanced to the state tournament for the first time since 2011 by overcoming a gritty effort from Weston-McEwen. Hallee Hughes led the way for the victors with 34 kills, 13 digs and four blocks. Alyssa Carpenter and Brooklynn Bailey both had double-doubles. Bailey was one block away from a triple-double. “It was a tough match that came down to who stayed most aggressive,” said TigerScots coach Shawn White, whose team was on the losing end. “I’m very proud of how my team competed.” White should also be proud of the sportsmanship they exhibited. It was so noticeable, especially that of libero Lirian Holden, that it made Willamina coach Heather Hughes send a special Sunday morning email exclusively on the subject.
Culver 3, Lowell 2 -- Lowell's aggression earned the Red Devils the first two sets, but host Culver dominated the final three to survive and advance. Henley Wachter and Kayden Leeann combined for 30 kills and eight blocks for the victors, who also got 37 assists from Brooke Bush.
Oakland 3, Grant Union 1 – Oakland overcame an error-filled third set to win in four on the road. Tia Picknell led the way with nine kills, six blocks and 16 digs for the Oakers. Veronica Sigl contributed 18 digs and Tiana Oberman recorded 17 assists.
Gaston 3, Heppner 0 -- Heppner lost a tough first set, 26-24, and could not recover. Rhys Niederberger served the first eight points of Game 2 for Gaston, which went on to the sweep. Libero Cayden Henderson had 25 digs for Gaston and Lexi Fern ran the court well, putting up 25 assists to go with four aces. Dara Teeman contributed 16 assists and 11 digs to the Heppner cause in defeat.
Stanfield 3, Nestucca 0 -- Zuri Reeser finished with 15 kills, eight digs and nine assists and Mykael Graham chipped in with 16 assists and five aces as Stanfield made the state tournament for the third time since 2019.
Oakridge 3, Gervais 0 – Sisters Sadie and Jade Snyder teamed for 35 kills and 27 digs and Jade Snyder added six aces in the sweep.
Monroe 3, Portland Christian 0 – Senior MB Bella Gamache led the way in the sweep for Monroe. PC got 14 kills, six digs and three blocks from Alyssa Baird. PC fought hard to the end and has a bright future with 1 starting junior and the rest freshmen and sophomores.

Damascus Christian 3, Days Creek 0 -- Senior Sierra Hale had seven kills and five aces in the sweep, played in front of a loud and fun crowd in the final home game for the Eagle seniors.
Umpqua Valley Christian 3, Open Door Christian Acad. 2 -- UVC recovered after a tough first set loss with mental toughness and reduced errors in the five-set win. Zoey and Amy Pappas teamed for 38 kills, 43 digs and 34 assists to lead the way.
Rogue Valley Adventist Acad. 3, Joseph 0
North Clackamas Christian 3, Adrian 0 -- The Saints trailed 19-15 in the first, as they played with too much adrenaline. Once they settled down, they rolled, as Kali Dransfeldt had 11 kills, four blocks and five aces.
St. Paul 3, Central Christian 0 -- Anabelle Davidson, Stella Koch and Meredith Coleman combined for 14 aces and Gracie Koch had 20 assists to lead St. Paul's win. Ceyda Schotborg and Bryanna Schaefer played well for Central Christian, which was competitive over the final two sets.
Powder Valley 3, South Wasco County 1
North Douglas 3, Prairie City 0
Crane 3, Echo 1 -- Echo won the first set, behind Nevaeh Thew, but host Crane took the next three to advance to the state tournament.
