No. 1 West Linn 10, No. 8 Tualatin 0 (6 innings) – Gabe Howard went all six innings, giving up just one hit while fanning eight, and Mitch Rowe and Danny Wideman sparked the offense for the two-time defending champs.

No. 5 Jesuit 5, No. 21 Clackamas 0  -- Mickey McClaskey tossed a complete game shutout for the Crusaders in the win.

No. 3 Sunset 3, No. 6 Westview 0 – Connor Anderson had a two-run homer to cap a three-run first in Sunset’s shutout win over its Metro League rivals.Junior Will Slater earned the win for the Apollos with a route-going performance.

No. 2 South Salem 14, No. 26 Mountainside 4 (5 innings) – Mountainside jumped on South Salem with three solo shots in the top of the first, but Gavin Price connected on a three-run blast in the bottom of the frame to tie things and the Saxons got two-run big flies from Noah Scharer and Teagan Scott in the second to lead 7-3. South Salem put up crooked numbers in the third and fourth innings as well to win by the 10-run rule. Kevin Semm threw all five innings for the win.

No. 8 Summit 5, No. 1 Canby 2 – Alex Via led the way on the mound (9 Ks) and at the plate (three hits; two RBIs) for the visiting Storm. Slater deBrun reached base all four of his ABs and scored four runs. Finn Edwards and Luke Lion each had two hits.

No. 4 West Albany 2, No. 5 Crescent Valley 1 -- Aidan Metzger worked a four-pitch walk to drive in the winning run and help the Bulldogs walk off to the semifinals versus a Raider team that had beaten them twice during the regular season.

No. 3 Ridgeview 4, No. 6 Wilsonville 3 (8 innings) -- Aiden Scott's single in the bottom of the eighth helped the Ravens walk off to victory.

No. 2 Thurston 11, No. 7 Mountain View 0 (5 innings) – Thurston scored in each of its four times up, collecting 13 hits, to win easily. Grady Saunders dominated on the hill for the Colts and also had three hits and two RBIs. Eli Crist had two doubles and drove home two. Brock Johnson also had two hits.

No. 1 Henley 4, No. 9 North Bend 1 -- Junior Mark Carpenter fanned 12 over six innings and helped his cause by hitting a double and driving in two.

No. 4 Marist Catholic 14, No. 5 Pendleton / Nixyaawii 4 (5 innings) -- Gianni Lombardi, Peyton Tyner, Niko Leyba and Ryan Lemley combined for nine hits and 10 RBIs for the victorious Spartans. Leyba pitched all five innings for Marist in the win.

No. 3 Scappoose 4, No. 6 Junction City / Triangle Lake 3 -- Scappoose took a 3-1 lead into the seventh, with help from a Brandon Nielson RBI double; but found itself tied going to the bottom of the last. Riley DuBois had three hits, including a walk off single in the seventh to keep Scappoose’s repeat hopes alive.

No. 2 North Marion / Gervais 4, No. 7 The Dalles 0 -- Carter Reilly tossed a complete-game shutout and Dawson Schrenk tripled, scored twice and drove home one for the victors.

No. 9 Brookings-Harbor 9, No. 16 North Valley 1 -- Ethan Orman threw a complete-game five-hitter with seven Ks and Camron Hendrix had two hits, including a homer, in the home win before an enthusiastic home crowd. Hendrix drove home two, as did Blake Delaney.

No. 4 Pleasant Hill 4, No. 5 Sisters 1 -- Hunter Allen and DJ Holman combined on a two-hitter with 10 Ks for the Billies.

No. 3 Warrenton 7, No. 11 Valley Catholic 2 (Saturday) -- Tyson McGrorty went 3-for-4, homered and drove in three and Kaison Smith allowed twp runs on two hits in five innings of relief to pick up the win.

No. 2 Banks 15, No. 7 La Pine 0 (5 innings) – The Braves led 14-0 after two and cruised. Wyatt Hesselman had three hits and Ashton Crossen and Justin Walters each had two in support of Lane Gilbert, who tossed four shutout innings.


2A/1A

No. 1 Knappa 11, No. 9 Kennedy 6 – The top-seeded Loggers overcame six errors and a familiar foe to advance to the semifinals. Jaxon Dietrichs threw six innings to get the win for Knappa, which scored seven runs in the fifth inning to gain breathing room. Dietrichs, Braxton Hill and Treven Moreland each delivered two knocks for the Loggers. Dom and Henry Beyer had two hits each for Kennedy.

No. 12 North Douglas / Elkton 1, No. 4 Regis 0 – Caden Reigard threw a two-hit shutout and North Douglas / Elkton played error-free baseball in support.

No. 3 Blanchet Catholic 15, No. 6 St. Paul 5 (5 innings) -- Blanchet Catholic’s offense hummed thanks to Tyson Smith, who had three knocks and drove home two. Noah Hancock, Dylan Cuff and Carson McNally all had multi-hit games.

No. 2 Umpqua Valley Christian 10, No. 7 Clatskanie 0 (5 innings) – Sean Simonson threw four shutout innings and Logan Anderson and Ty Hellenthal teamed for five hits in the dominating win.
