No. 1 Amity improved to 27-0 on the season with an emphatic 60-30 win over Valley Catholic to advance to the state tournament in Coos Bay. The Warriors, who hit nine 3-pointers on the night, led 15-1 and never let the 17th-seeded Valiants into the game. Adie Nisly led the balanced Warriors with 11 points. Eliza Nisly and Saralynn Grove each had 10, and Lyli Rideout made three 3-pointers in the first half. Amity, the highest-scoring 3A team, reached the 60-point mark for the 18th time. “Our defense was lights out,” said Amity coach Jed McMullen. “We didn’t play as well as we can offensively but it was a great team win with balanced scoring.”

Second-seeded Banks ran its winning streak to 17 games with a 51-23 victory over No. 15 Oregon Episcopal. The Braves locked in defensively and registered their ninth game of the season allowing 23 or fewer points. Nylah Vanthom led the way with 12 points and McKenna King added nine. Eight Braves scored at least four points. Oregon Episcopal was held to a season low in points and saw its seven-game winning streak snapped. ... Isabel McCauley posted 21 points and five steals in No. 4 Cascade Christian’s 53-44 win over Sutherlin. Emma Coats chipped in with 14 points and Jordynn Jones had five points, six rebounds, five assists and two blocks. The Challengers extended a program record by notching their 22nd win of the season. ...

Gretchen Orton (19 points), Aziza Saad (14 points) and Aliya Saad (12 points) combined to make 11 3-pointers as No. 5 Jefferson got past Creswell 57-42. The Lions led by only five at halftime, but Jefferson eventually ran away from the visiting Bulldogs. Mila Nguyen scored 15 points to lead Creswell. ... No. 10 Taft advanced to the state championship site for the first time since 1980 with a 45-41 road win over seventh-seeded Corbett, the defending 3A champions. Taft let a 12-point third-quarter lead get away but the Tigers found a way down the stretch. Laney Lee had 17 points for Taft, while Sienna Lillebo added 12. Adia Fancher scored 15 points for Corbett, with Ally Schimel contributing 12 points, 10 rebounds and six steals. ... Burns pulled off an upset as well, as the No. 11 Hilanders defeated No. 6 Pleasant Hill 62-58. Pleasant Hill had previously beaten Burns 45-42 on Jan. 18. ... Eighth seed Coquille advanced to Coos Bay with a comfortable 48-26 victory over visiting Yamhill-Carlton. ... No. 3 Vale hosts 14th-seeded Lakeview at 1 p.m. Mountain time Saturday.

Top-seeded Stanfield moved on the state tournament in Pendleton with a 63-28 win over Trinity Lutheran. Mazie Reeser scored 14 of her game-high 23 points in the third quarter for the Tigers, who led 39-12 at halftime. Saira Arellano and Kahleigha Haney added 11 points each for Stanfield. Ella Prelog posted 12 points to lead the No. 16 Saints. ... Second seed Weston-McEwen took an early lead and extended it each quarter as the TigerScots methodically pulled away to beat Colton 47-28. Charlotte Hansell led Weston-McEwen with 16 points. Kelsey Graham hit three 3-pointers and scored 13. Colton, which was 3-8 earlier this season, was led by the 10 points of Addison English. “I’m proud of our girls’ toughness when things didn’t go their way,” said TigerScots coach Jeremy Wolf. “They kept their heads up against a Colton team that didn’t quit.”

Defending state champion Western Christian, which has lost only once this season to a 2A opponent, raced out to a 15-2 lead through one quarter on the way to a 67-23 win for the No. 3 seed over No. 14 Bonanza. Runon Muroya racked up 18 points, five rebounds, eight assists and three steals. Kylie Sommer registered a double-double with 15 points, 11 rebounds and three blocks, and Haley Ferry had 12 points, five rebounds and four assists. ... No. 6 Central Linn gave up the first six points of the game to 11th-seeded Clataskanie, but cruised from there to win 65-45. The Cobras led 39-22 at halftime. Raegan Day scored 22 and made six of Central Linn’s 11 3-pointers. Addie Wolf had 14 points while Peyton Gaskey and Chloe Kallai each scored 11. ... No. 7 Knappa got 23 points and 10 rebounds from Mylie Lempea as the Loggers downed No. 10 Heppner 46-39. Knappa extended a one-point halftime lead to eight through three quarters and was able to put the Mustangs away in the fourth quarter with a key 3-pointer by Taylor Pass. Hallee Hisler scored 19 points to lead Heppner, which had beaten Knappa 53-42 in December. ...

Eighth-seeded Bandon held Enterprise to just seven second-half points as the Tigers rallied from a halftime deficit to defeat the visiting Outlaws 35-27. Caitlyn Michalek led Bandon with 10 points and Makenna Vierck scored five points and played a major role in shutting down Enterprise defensively. Bandon, the state runner-up last season, started the season 7-5 but has gone 13-2 since. ... No. 4 Salem Academy jumped out to a 26-3 lead after the first quarter against No. 13 Nestucca and cruised to an 80-38 win to head back to the state tournament. Celia James led the way with 26 for the Crusaders, and Clara Persons racked up 20 points. Jordyn Copeland had eight rebounds and Chase Sullivan dished five assists. ... Sixth-seeded East Linn Christian defeated Myrtle Point for the second time this season, this time a 52-28 win that gives the Eagles a trip to Pendleton. Josie Grunerud and Piper Sewell scored 19 and 13 points, respectively, in the win.

After starting fast with a 20-point first quarter, No. 2 Imbler overcame a three-point second quarter and pulled away from St. Paul in the second half to win 52-27. Paiten Braseth paced the Panthers with 17 points, with Rachael Stirewalt pitching in with 12 and Whitney Haddock adding 10. “We started fast and created opportunities defensively,” said Imbler coach Darci Sweet. “It was a full team effort on the defensive end and with our rebounding.” ... Emma Seubert’s layup with 3.7 seconds remaining in the game lifted No. 4 Country Christian to a thrilling 29-28 win over upset-minded Southwest Christian, the Cougars’ third win in three meetings with the 13th-seeded Wildcats this season. ... Union will head to Baker City as the top seed in the state tournament after beating rival Powder Valley for the third time this season, 58-44. Union led by just eight at halftime but held the underdog Badgers at bay down the stretch. The Bobcats previously won the championship in 2022. ...

Fifth-seeded Jordan Valley ran its winning streak to nine games with a dominant 52-31 victory over New Hope Christian. Meg Eiguren hit four three-pointers and scored 22 points, and Kyndra Williams added 11. The Mustangs are seeking their first state title since 1992. New Hope Christian started the season 19-0, but comes up short of a state tournament appearance. ... No. 9 Echo picked up the only road win of the night in 1A, traveling north of the Columbia River to beat Washington-based Trout Lake/Greenwood 54-48. The Cougars led by four at halftime and held off the host Mustangs late, avenging a 38-34 loss in Trout Lake in December. ... North Clackamas Christian built a 10-point halftime lead and extended it in the second half as the No. 7 Saints beat North Lake/Paisley 61-39. ... No. 3 Crane hosts 19th-seeded Umpqua Valley Christian at 1 p.m. Saturday, while No. 11 Rogue Valley Adventist travels to face No. 6 North Douglas at 6:30 p.m.
