Suicide Awareness

Mark and Kym Hilinski, Founders, Tyler Hilinski Foundation

Mark and Kym, share the story of their beautiful son Tyler, with the hope that those hearing it will understand the prevalence of mental illness, and the unfortunate truth that many are affected daily by these struggles. While difficult both to share and to hear, Mark and Kym are taking the lead by fighting against the stigma associated with mental illness, and promoting suicide prevention by example. Listen to their compelling story of their loving son, gone far too soon.

Character Education

Larry Doty, Former Men’s Basketball Coach, Linfield College

Larry will talk about why Character Education is essential, what character and sportsmanship mean, and how coaches can help athletes develop good character, which will include 12 character traits coaches can teach players.
