The semifinals are on Tuesday.

6A

Jesuit 10, West Salem 0  -- Jesuit continued its historic season with another dominating win. The Crusaders, who have yielded just one goal all season, pitched another shut out and scored five goals in each half to cruise to the home win. Kaite Duong scored the first three goals for Jesuit, which also got a hat trick and four assists from Callan Harrington and two goals apiece from Naomi Alvarez and Pia Goodell.

Mountainside 1, Sunset 0 – The victorious Mavericks enjoyed the advantage in possession but could not put the ball past Sunset keeper Emma Snell until six minutes remained, when the Apollos were called for a hand ball in the box. Nedya Sawan converted the penalty kick for Mountainside, which reached the semifinals in its first year of varsity competition.

Clackamas 5, Sherwood 0  -- Goalkeeper Hallie Byzewski delivered another clean score sheet for the Cavaliers, who got terrific work from all three lines in the shutout win. Kori Walters got the scoring started for Clackamas in the 11th minute, as the senior defender headed in a corner taken by Maddie Tetz. Aidan Brown added another goal before half on a 25-yard strike over the keeper’s head. Clackamas added three second-half goals, including another Walters header on another Tetz corner, and weathered a 30-minute lightning delay to storm into the semis.

West Linn 2, Barlow 0 Rosie Larsen scored on a header off of a free kick from Calli Masters in the 28th minute and that remained the score until 10 minutes remained, thanks to Barlow senior keeper Lisa Martin, who thwarted several chances by the Lions, who dominated possession and shots on goal. West Linn finally got the insurance it was seeking when Carmel Corrigan made a spirited run down the right side and fired a ball that clanged off the inside of the far post. Lauren Jones collected the carom and banged the ball into the open net to clinch the Lion advance.

Corvallis 2, North Eugene 1 – Corvallis made the most of its three shots on goal for the match, converting two in an upset of the top-seeded Highlanders. The Spartans led 1-0 at the half on a Jordan Taylor goal. North Eugene knotted the score with eight minutes remaining when Sophie Cleland found the back of the net on a free kick. Corvallis responded three minutes later with the game winner, a 20-yard shot off of the toe of Marcella Allen to complete the upset.

Churchill 4, Thurston 2 Brittany Anderson scored two first-half goals for Thurston, but Churchill roared back with four goals in the second half of the second half, two by Ciana Reyes and one each from Maddie Young and Makenzy Stiffler, to earn the come-from-behind win.

West Albany 3, Silverton 2 -- West Albany defeated conference for Silverton by one goal for the second time this season, edging the Foxes 3-2 on Saturday. Silverton scored first, on a penalty kick in the 17th minute, but the Bulldogs answered with two goals before halftime, a length-of-the-field rush by Jayde Crowe and a tally from Lily Ruiz seconds before the whistle, to take the lead. Ahni Washburn scored from 35 yards out 10 minutes into the second half to give West Albany a two-goal edge, which was essential because Silverton scored midway through the half on another penalty.

Crescent Valley 2, Willamette 1 – When these teams met during the regular season, Willamette came away with the 2-1 win. Crescent Valley turned the tables on the Wolverines on Saturday, getting a goal from Anna McClave with two minutes remaining to secure the upset. The Raiders had been nursing a lead for most of the match, thanks to a goal in the ninth minute from Cali McClave, but Willamette scored on a penalty kick from Jerusalem Morris just one minute before Anna McClave’s game-winning heroics.

4A

Hidden Valley 5, Philomath 1 – Top-seeded Hidden Valley yielded only its eighth goal of the season but did enough heavy lifting on offense to get by Philomath for the second time this season.

Marist Catholic 2, North Valley 1 – Marist Catholic scored on two set pieces, a free kick from Elle Ficek in the first half and a penalty kick from Ficek in the second, and made it stand up on the road against North Valley. Baylee Touey scored the last goal in her decorated career for North Valley but it wasn’t enough. Marist was the more aggressive teams and made the plays it needed to in order to come away with the win.

Valley Catholic 2, Stayton 0 -- In a battle of two teams that were well-organized defensively, two successful set pieces sealed the win for the Valiants. They scored on a Katherine McNaughton header in the 20th minute and on a Sarah Jones free kick midway through the second half.

La Grande 2, Gladstone 1 – A competitive back-and-forth battle was scoreless at the half and for the first 13 minutes of the second. When Brianna Lewis scored for Gladstone, things were looking good for the seventh-seeded Gladiators to pull the upset. But Lexee Gomes scored four minutes later to knot things for the Tigers and Kara Gooderham netted the game winner for La Grande with less than two minutes remaining, a rocket shot from 30 yards out.

3A/2A/1A

Catlin Gabel 3, Riverdale 0 – Catlin Gabel outshot Riverdale 26-0, but this was still a one-goal game more than halfway through the second half. Emma Sadle scored early for the top-seeded and undefeated Eagles off of a corner from Ann Louise Naito, but that was it until the 47th minute, when freshman forward Kendrick Dahlin scored into the corner to give CG some cushion. Naito completed the scoring for the Eagles with a goal in the 54th minute, assisted by Sophie Wand.

Blanchet Catholic 1, Yamhill-Carlton 0 -- Blanchet Catholic scored on a free kick from the 30-yard line in the 21st minute and made it hold up on the road. Brianna Anaya scored the game-winner, bending the ball low and around the wall with a beautiful shot into the right corner of the goal.

Oregon Episcopal School 7, Brookings-Harbor 0

St. Mary’s, Medford 6, Riverside 0 -- St. Mary’s scored twice in the first 10 minutes – one from Meghan Michels from short range just seconds after the opening kickoff and another from Maddie Wheelock in similar fashion seven minutes later – and never looked back. The Crusaders add a PK goal from Wheelock to take a 3-0 lead at the half and scored three more times in the second half, capped by a goal from Sophia Dobry, who had run in the state cross country championships in Eugene earlier that day.
