No. 1 West Linn 5, No. 32 Southridge 0 – Senior RHP Gabe Howard scattered three hits and struck out 13 over six innings for the two-time defending champs and Mitch Rowe led a 13-hit Lion attack with two singles and a double.

No. 16 Grants Pass 7, No. 17 Tigard 1 -- Luke Morgan and Brayden Morris pitched effectively for the Cavemen and Troy Osborne led the offense with two hits, two steals and three driven home.

No. 9 Central Catholic 3, No. 24 Roseburg 2 -- Spencer Marron threw a complete-game four-hitters, striking out 13, for the Rams and Cade Gehlen went 2-for-2, including a walk off double in the bottom of the seventh to clinch Central's advance.

No. 8 Tualatin 5, No. 25 Century 3 -- The host Timberwolves scored two in the bottom of the sixth inning to break a 3-3 tie. Nolan McCormack went the first five on the bump for Tualatin, giving up one earned run while fanning nine. Glen Maduro finished up for the win and also went 2-for-3 with an RBI.

No. 28 Beaverton 4, No. 5 Sprague 1 (10 innings) -- Dax Teixeira led off the top of the 10th inning with a double and Aidan Rice chased him home with a single to spur a three-run rally that proved decisive in the upset win. , to then be followed up with an RBI single from Aidan Rice to take the lead. Teixeira and Chase Austin did the job on the mound for the Beavers.

No. 21 Clackamas 5, No. 12 North Medford 1 – Kyle Pisano pitched into the sixth inning with 10 strike outs and Luke Brady and Justin Larsen clutched up with two-out RBI singles in the Cavalier win.

No. 13 Sandy 3, No. 20 Grant 1 -- Matt Kosderka and Fisher Winchester teamed to allow just one run in the Pioneer win. Kosderka struck out nine over six innings and Luke Kovac's sac fly in the third chased home the go-ahead run.

No. 4 Jesuit 10, No. 29 Sheldon 8 – The Crusaders built a nine-run lead in the sixth inning then held off Sheldon’s charge, which included three consecutive doubles in the top of the seventh. Mickey McClaskey got the win for Jesuit, yielding just one run on three hits over the first five innings. Johnny Ingalls slammed the door on the Irish rally with the bases loaded. Nolan Miller had a great game at the plate for Sheldon, going 4-for-4 with a homer, double and two RBIs.

No. 3 Sunset 2, No. 30 Liberty 0 -- Kruz Schoolcraft struck out 15 and walked just two in Sunset's win. Sunset managed just four hits offensively, led by two from Maddox Montoya.

No. 19 Sherwood 5, No. 14 Lincoln 1 -- Connor Parry threw six strong innings for the Bowmen, yielding just one run; and Kyle Sheller had three hits -- a home run short of the cycle -- with two RBIs. Parry also drove home two with a double that broke the game open.

No. 11 Barlow 7, No. 22 Lakeridge 1 -- River Hamilton struck out nine and got the win for the Bruins, who got a two-run double from Amari Reynolds as part of a six-run surge over the first three innings. "Our guys were hungry to compete again," said coach Brady Burdick. "It doesn’t matter who or where they play, they are just excited to lock in and battle. We are playing our best baseball when it counts. Winning the league title by consistently doing the 'little things' really well has carried over to the playoffs. We are just a bunch of guys that love to compete together!"

No. 6 Westview 6, No. 27 Nelson 5 -- The Wildcats trailed 5-3 heading to the bottom of the last but plated three thanks to a bases loaded single by Nathan Kim, which scored two; and Ezra Vice's single, which drove home pinch runner Caleb Ballie with the game winner. Vice, Josh Hong and Kevin Penna had two hits apiece for Westview.

No. 26 Mountainside 10, No. 7 Lake Oswego 3 -- Mountainside won behind a strong mound effort from Lucas Plenart. Kellen Wood's three-run homer in the top of the fourth broke open a close game.

No. 10 McMinnville 9, No. 23 Willamette 1 – The Grizzlies scored all nine of their runs in the fourth inning, highlighted by Mitch Taylor’s bases-loaded double; and Brayden Mix threw five innings, yielding just three hits, to get the win.

No. 18 McNary 2, No. 15 Ida B. Wells 1 -- Griffin Scott was perfect through six inning for Ida B. Wells, which had a 1-0 lead until a hit batsman leading off the seventh sparked a two-run Celtic uprising that included a Trevor Ratliff double. The prevailing run scored on an error and made Carter Hawley the winning pitcher following a route-going performance.

No. 2 South Salem 19, No. 31 Aloha 9 (6 innings)  -- Gavin Price and Noah Scharer each homered and Brady Greer went 3-for-4 with three RBIs to spark the Saxons in the slugfest.

No. 16 North Valley 17, No. 17 Siuslaw / Mapleton 2 (5 innings) -- Landon Allison was dominant on the mound and was backed by a 10-run first inning from the Knights in the home win. Erick Pezqueda went 2-for-3 with three RBIs to lead the offense.

No. 13 Taft 1, No. 20 Burns / Crane 0 -- Taft pushed across a run in the fourth when JJ McCormick singled and scored. That was enough for the Tigers, who saw Zack Hankins outduel Jack Wright for Burns. Hankins struck out 17 over six innings for Taft. Wright also went six for Burns / Crane, fanning eight.

No. 19 Yamhill-Carlton 18, No. 14 Horizon Christian, Tualatin 9 -- Y-C baseball coach Jake McGraw said this about his team following the win: "We played gritty baseball today. We didn’t let mistakes linger or snowball. We answered every time they got on the board and guys put together several deep counts and quality at bats at the plate. More importantly we minimized damage in the field and made some nice plays. Everyone contributed and stepped up in big moments."

No. 15 Santiam Christian 11, No. 18 McLoughlin 1 (5 innings) – Josh Riddle struck out eight for the Eagles over five innings and Kellen O’Malley drove in three, including a two-run double in the bottom of the fifth to walk it off. Riddle also had a ground rule double to lead off the fourth, when Santiam Christian got its scoring started.

No. 16 Illinois Valley 4, No. 17 Country Christian / North Clackamas Christian 3 -- Bryson Gilmore hit a grand slam in the first inning and recorded the last out on the hill in Illinois Valley's win.

No. 12 North Douglas / Elkton 18, No. 21 Monroe / Alsea 0

No. 13 Culver 2, No. 20 Myrtle Point 0 -- The Bulldogs advanced on the strength of the right arm of junior Houston Wittenburg, who threw a complete game on 87 pitches. "We’re in good spirits and we’re ready to battle as we continue moving forward," said Culver coach Kyle Kuust.

No. 14 Bandon / Pacific 10, No. 19 Oakland 5

No. 22 Union / Cove 15, No. 11 Lost River 8 – A five-run top of seven helped the Bobcats break open a close game to win on the road. Micah Jayne went 2-for-4 with a double, triple and three RBIs for the victors.

No. 15 Irrigon 8, No. 18 Nestucca 2 -- Irrigon hit well, took advantage of Nestucca miscues and got a strong performance on the hill from Brayden Locey, who struck out 10 over five innings.
